You know since it’s Monday I’m going to do you guys right by bringing you some Midori Yamazaki yumminess! This leggy Kochi Prefecture native boasts a heavenly measurement of B85-W58-H85 and stands at 5 feet and 5 1/2 inches (which is tall by Japanese standards and makes her legs appear that much shapelier). Midori belongs to Team ZENT that competes in Japan’s popular racing series Super GT, and she’s been a “Zent Sweety” since 2005.

Midori Yamazaki’s beauty and likeness has been compared to Japanese fashion model Moe Oshikiri. She said at the press conference, “The first person I want to notify is my grandma because she’s my biggest fan!” The hot newly crowned RQY added, “Recently there are quite a few girls with voluptuous bodies or “moe-kei” (meaning cute in an otaku kind of way) in appearance, but I’m proud to be a traditional race queen. I’m very confident about my flair and style!”

The prestigious Kyoto University recently held its annual graduation ceremony (in Japan the school year ends in March and begins in April). Some of the bright graduates and future of Japan decided to get creative, ditched the traditional cap and gown and celebrated their completion in cosplay fashion!

Check out the character in the middle…it’s the controversial mascot for Nara Prefecture which has been dominating Japanese news. The unpopular mascot was chosen out of 21 different sketches back on the 12th of this month and still remains unnamed. The majority of responses from the public has been “creepy”, “disrespectful to Buddhism”, “unnatural”, “defames the Nara name” and of course the expected “not cute“.

The design is supposed to combine the 2 most famous symbols of Nara Prefecture: deers and the giant statue of Buddha. Yeah, this is just downright creepy to me!

It LOOKS like someone was filiming when they shouldn’t be but it could just be another one of those viral type videos that give you a headache and don’t show a whole lot. Well, this one isn’t that bad, but it is pretty shaky.

Japanese gravure model cutie Azusa Yamamoto was in Tokyo yesterday promoting Nintendo Wii’s latest offering, Wii Ware. Wii Ware is a service currently only available in Japan that lets you download fun and nostalgic video games from back in the day.

The game Azusa was promoting in particular was the shooting game “Star Soldier R“, made by Japanese video game maker Hudson originally for Super Nintendo (doesn’t that bring back memory?). This Wii Ware version of Star Soldier R has the option of “2 Minute Mode”, “5 Minute Mode” and “Rapid Fire Mode”. The game goes for 800 Wii Points, or 800 Yen.

Hudson plans on releasing 1 game per month in the future through Wii Ware, including hit classic games such as “Tetris Wii” and “Wi-Fi 8 Person Battle Bomber Man”.

I can’t tell exactly which F car this is that she’s posing next to.  Whatever the case, the shooter sure did get a nice angle on the girl.

Today I’ve got some sexy race queens from Japan’s Super GT racing series for you. Meet the Yunkel Girls! These hot girls are from Team TAISAN and Sato Pharmaceuticals, the maker of the famous Japanese energy drink “Yunkel” is the main sponsor of the racing team.

Team TAISAN campaigns a gold (you guessed it) Porsche 997 (911) GT3R that’s piloted by the popular Japanese driver Nobuteru Taniguchi who was a huge D1 Grand Prix star.

Holy crap, this girl has a lot to say. Uhh,… if you guys really want, I’ll translate it. Sorry, I’m not like John who’s whole life is to translate Japanese stuff all day long. Ok, the main thing to watch for here in this video is the hottie that they zoom in on at the 30 second mark till the 47 second mark. They zoom in on her again at the 1:25 mark till 1:40,… she’s got a smoking body with what look to be perfect boobies. Even if she does have a short haircut,… although from what I’m seeing this year, it’s supposed to be the in thing in Europe.

Anyway, this a group of racequeens (racing girls as they’re called in Korea) doing a little number. At the 48 second mark, you can see the moron that doesn’t keep up with the rest of the girls. Here’s an interesting video. It’s long (well, 4:37 minutes long,…) and shows some Japanese gravure model named Misaki. Whether this girl really is Misaki or not, is unbeknownst to me. However, the video starts out with her puddling around in a pool, then moves to a pink dress,… where I think he real beauty comes out. You get to see her firm and soft body and the pink dress is ,… well,… just nice. :) The video itself doesn’t show any nudity or the such, but may not exactly be something that your boss wants you to be looking at while at work. “Ayapan” is consistently ranked No. 1 as the most desirable TV announcer in Japan

Rumors started flying that super popular Japanese TV announcer (newscaster) Aya Takashima aka “Ayapan” will be married later this summer to Yuji Kitagawa of the Japanese folk duo “Yuzu”. The two began dating back in 2006 and supposedly plan to tie the knot at the end of June when Yuzu wrap up their national concert tour.

However, Ayapan herself denies this on her blog. According to insider information there are several reasons why “the princess of Fuji TV” cannot tie the knot just yet. First off, Yuji’s family used to be devotees of the Japanese religion “Gedatsukai”. Since leaving the cultish church his mother Keiko established her own religion named “Kamunagara no Michi” and appointed herself the leader. Keiko Kitagawa has already proclaimed that when a woman marries her son, she should be a full time housewife who focuses on raising kids and taking care of the family. But it’s presumed that Aya would like to continue working.

Secondly, the 29 year old Aya Takashima is considered the crown jewel at Fuji TV, excelling at presenting new programs as well as variety shows. Fuji TV does have other younger “announcers” such as Minako Nakano, Midori Matsuo, Rio Hirai and Tomoko Honda, but they all either lack the experience and ability that Aya possesses or are prone to scandals. So for the time being Fuji TV must rely on “Ayapan” to maintain good ratings.

And then there’s also the money factor. Keep in mind that it is customary in Japan for a female TV newscaster / announcer to voluntarily “retire” once she announces her marriage. You may return to active duty at a later time, but most likely under the status of a freelance announcer. (Japanese TV stations like to stock their “ana” young, fresh and single) It has been estimated that if Aya Takashima were to turn freelance she wouldn’t make much more than what she is getting paid now, which is around $200,000.

We’ll see how this plays out…

Aya Matsuura possesses a great voice and is a top selling artist for Hello!Project

Japanese singer and mega popular idol Aya Matsuura was the PR chief  today for the upcoming 25th Japan Confectionery Expo in Hyogo (in conjunction with Himeji Confection Expo 2008).  It was only fitting that the super sexy and cute “Ayaya” (as her fans affectionately call her) was in charge of promoting the event, since the 21 year old Hello!Project artist hails from Himeji city in Hyogo Prefecture.

Ayaya said, “I’m having such a good time since I love sweets.  I can’t wait to try them all!”

The expo will be held from April 18th through May 11th in and around Ayaya’s hometown.
