Miniskirt Police Arrests Chikan!

This story could not be more fitting!  Who says cosplay idols cannot do some good for our society?  As many of you know, “chikan” aka train gropers often appear in crowded trains and subways in Japan and this phenomenon has thrived for more than 20 years.  They’re often hard to catch and most Japanese women tend to just put up with the harassment.

Last Friday evening Yukiko Hachisuka (蜂須賀ゆきこ), 14th generation member of Japanese cosplay idol troupe Miniskirt Police (ミニスカポリス) caught a train groper red handed trying to apply his trade on her lovely buttocks.  The Kanagawa Prefecture (just southwest of Tokyo) native had just finished some gravure work and was on her way home.  She got onto the Odakyu Line from Shimokitazawa Station and soon noticed a middle aged salaried worker looking man approaching from behind and began fondling her ass.

According to the sexy 23 year old Minisuka girl, the dude first used the back of his hand, later switched to the palm then finally using his fingers to molest her.  Yukiko showed surprising poise for a young Japanese girl by remaining calm.  When the train stopped at Mukogaokayuen Station about 10 minutes later she grabbed the chikan’s right hand and pulled him out of the train.

I’m sure the train groper was totally shocked as he tried to run away since usually Japanese girls aren’t that daring.  I would’ve loved to see the expression on his face!

Ms. Hachisuka never let go of her assailant and with the help of station staff they brought him to a police station nearby the station.  The brave Miniskirt Police member said, “It was my first encounter with a chikan.  His action was clearly abnormal.  It’s only fitting that he was arrested.”

In case you’re wondering, the cute Minisuka was wearing a pink polo and a frilly white miniskirt (what else).  Could that be considered “entrapment”? xD
