Congratulations to Team NISMO Xanavi on winning the opener of 2008 Super GT
Japanese race car driver Satoshi Motoyama (4 times Formula Nippon champion) and his French teammate Benoit Treluyer piloted the NISMO Xanavi GT-R which belongs to the GT500 class to victory. The team that completed the one-two GT-R punch was Motul / Autech’s Michael Krumm from Germany and Japan’s own Masataka Yanagida, who obtained pole position for the race.
Second place finisher Team Motul Autech R35 Nissan GT-R
Don’t these hot race queens just make you drool buckets?
The R35, factory code name for the new Nissan GT-R also recorded the fastest lap of the day by Calsonic / IMPUL’s Tsugio Matsuda at 1 minute 56.136 seconds! So far it looks like the GT-R name is on track to dominate the field again, just as it’s always done. The next race will be the second weekend of April at Okayama International Cirucuit (formerly TI Circuit Aida).
