We’ve noticed that a few people are having problems viewing some of the videos on the site. Namely, the ones that I’m finding that are NOT hosted within the U.S. If you’re one of the few that are having problems viewing the videos, then there could be several reasons for it.

The videos are NOT in the U.S. Some are in Korea, others are in Japan, and we may even have a few elsewhere. To put it plainly, those places are pretty far from the U.S. It may take a while for them to load. Don’t just refresh over and over within seconds,… give it some time to load. They’re not going anywhere,… be patient,… wait for the status bar to finish loading the video.

Some of you may be on the most basic DSL connections. That poses a problem if the server that’s hosting the video is far away. It may take even longer to load, or your connection may simply time out. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about that. If we ever get to the point of hosting videos ourselves, we’ll be sure to include you folks even down to the 56k modem users,… until then, I’m sorry but you’re just SOL.

And lastly, it may be a browser issue. What I’m seeing is that all of the Internet Explorer’s currently do work, the latest Firefox works, and I have no idea in terms of the Safari’s because, well, I’m not a Mac user. If you come across a video and you really want to see it, leave a comment and I’ll see about posting the direct link to the video. If there’s enough of you that keep asking for these links, I may just start including them in the post.

If after all of this, you’re not happy and you want to gripe to me about the site, feel free to send me an email or post a comment. Email address is my name at this domain.
