A bit older, Japanese Gravure Idol Yoko Mitsuya’s “Vacation” photobook scans from 1999, with her in a yellow bikini holding back her big boobs, but showing off her nice legs and thighs. She’s doing more of the movie bit acting stuff, rather than the gravure idol work, but a beautiful girl nonetheless enjoying a day out on the beach. Interesting note, Yoko here was 15 when she did this photo set… o_O I can’t figure out if I need to categorize this as U-15 or not…

Japanese teen gravure idol authority CREAM (クリーム) puts out its junior idol squad “Junior Squash”. If you don’t already know, a junior idol is a gravure model who belongs in the U-15 category. In other words, she must be 15 years old or younger.

We’ve got 3 cute and genki junior idols representing Poseidon Entertainment (ポセイドンエンタテインメント).

* Aira Mihana (三花愛良) is currently 15. Don’t mess with the tallish 5’6″ PSP-holic as she is well versed in karate!

* Miku Takaoka (高岡未來) is a petite 14 year old from Tokyo who has been modeling since she was 12.

* Yuna Mochizuki (望月ゆな) just turned 16 in the beginning of this month so technically she’s no longer a junior idol. Yuna stands at 5’4″ tall and likes to play tennis.

14 year old Eri Yamaguchi (山口えり) is the deserving cover girl. Eri graces us with her cute smile and innocent eyes, but she’s also just naughty enough to do a little strip tease wearing the sailor school girl uniform. The petite 150cm (4’11″) junior idol is from Hyogo Prefecture and lists her hobby as cooking.

Today we feature 4 Japanese teen gravure idols from their Meccha Imouto collection (don’t ask me to translate…it’ll sound weird lol). There are some pretty hot poses so I’ll just leave it at that and let you enjoy them.

The word “bloomer” (ブルマー) refers to the ultra short and hip hugging polyester PE uniform shorts that Japanese schools require their girls to put on. The wonderful paradise we call Japan just keeps turning out awesome junior idols like Kana Anzai (安西かな) as featured in our special WHIP (ホイップ) photobook scans. The kawaii U-15 gravure idol from Fukui Prefecture is currently 14 and stands at only 147cm (4’10″)! By the time Kana had this photoshoot she’s already had 5 gravure DVDs and 3 photobooks under her, um, school uniform plaid skirt. The cheeky Japanese teen with big sparkling eyes was voted “most talkative” at her school!

NTV Genic 2009 Japanese Gravure Idols Scola スコラ Photobook Scans

The race for the annual NTV Genic (日テレジェニック or “nittere genic”) gravure idol contest has begun! Japanese gravure publishing powerhouse Scola did a spread on all the young honey entries. Brace yourself as there are 16 sexy Japanese gravure idols in bikini for you to drool over!

Entry No.1 – Mao Aoki (青木未央)

This ero-kawaii 23 year old race queen is only 153cm (5 feet) tall and belongs to Japanese production company Face Network (フェイスネットワーク).

Entry No.2 – Minami Uehara (上原みなみ)

Minami is a G cup 18 year old teen from Tokyo. She likes to play table tennis and crane catcher at the video arcade. The Fine Agent talent has also been chosen as a finalist in the 2009 Miss Magazine gravure contest.

Entry No.3 – Mizuki Okamoto (岡本みづき)

18 years old Mizuki is from Hyogo Prefecture. The pure looking teen has also made it to the final round of 2009 Miss Magazine gravure contest.

Entry No.4 – Jui Kizuki (希月樹衣)

The 20 year old hails from Fukuoka Prefecture in southern Japan and belongs to Dream Gate (ドリームゲート). Jui is the older sister of AKB48 member Aki Takajo.

Entry No.5 – Yui Koike (小池唯)

Japanese teen gravure idol Yui Koike is all grown up and now 18 years old! The Saitama Prefecture native made her debut as an U-15 idol.

Entry No.6 – Maya Koizumi (小泉麻耶)

Maya has those yummy G cup breasts you can just stare at all day long! The 21 year old is one gutsy girl as she took her high school to court over her expulsion for entering showbiz.

Entry No.7 – Yua Saito (齊藤夢愛)

I just love the combination of a baby face with a nice rack! The 21 year old Sendai native is a loyal reader of Japanese fashion magazine Popteen and plays volleyball. I’d definitely like to have some one on one volleyball action with her!

Entry No.8 – Satomi Shigemori (重盛さと美)

20 year old Satomi is from Fukuoka Prefecture and likes to call herself “Sacchan”. Satomi belongs to Avila (アヴィラ)entertainment agency and loves to grub on some BBQ beef tongue.

Entry No.9 – Kanako Shinjo (新生かな子)

This 19 year old teen gravure idol is also a Fukuoka Prefecture native. Kanako plays the piano and is proud of her dimples.

Entry No.10 – Yuko Shimizu (清水ゆう子)

Runner-up of this year’s Gravure Japan gravure idol contest, the sexy 20 year old is now going after NTV Genic. Yuko is a Kanagawa Prefecture native.

Entry No.11 – Ayaka Noda (野田彩加)

Ayaka comes from Saitama Prefecture and was the runner-up in the 2008 Miss FLASH gravure contest. The self proclaimed F cup 21 year old is a member of Fit One (フィットワン).

Entry No.12 – Hitomi Furusaki (古崎瞳)

23 year old race queen is another 2008 Miss FLASH gravure contest finalist. Hitomi like to blog in Hiroshima dialect, which is her native tongue.

Entry No.13 – Momoka Mizukami (水上桃花)

Slender and tall 15 year old Momoka is the youngest entry at this year’s NTV Genic gravure contest. The U-15 idol is from Saitama Prefecture.

Entry No.14 – Maaya Morinaga (守永真彩)

The E cup chest teen just missed the U-17 status when she turned 18 recently. Maaya auditioned for Japanese super idol unit Morning Musume when she was only in grade school.

Entry No.15 – Konomi Yoshikawa (吉川このみ)

20 year old Konomi has that warm girl next door smile and boasts an F cup chest. Last year she became the first Hokkaido Prefecture native to take home the grand prize at the “Seikore” or All Japan School Girl Uniform Collection gravure contest

Entry No.16 – Misaki Yonemura (米村美咲)

The 16 year old Hokkaido Prefecture native was the runner-up in last year’s Seikore (制コレ) gravure contest. Misaki belongs to AVEX Entertainment.

AKB48 Ultimate Top of Beauty Photobook Scans

Let’s wrap up our special series on UTB’s (Up To Boy) Ultimate Top of Beauty magazine scans with a bang with 4 lovely Japanese teen singers from the popular J-pop idol group AKB48!

First up we’ve got Aki Takajo (高城亜樹). The 17 year old lists her home as Tokyo but was born in Fukuoka Prefecture. She belongs to Team A of AKB48. She’s proud of her tennis playing skills and her older sister who goes by the stage name Jui Kizuki (希月樹衣) is a gravure idol.

The super cute Risa Naruse (成瀬理沙) is an U-15 idol who belongs to Team K. All the AKB48 fanboys were saddened when it was announced recently that she’s leaving AKB48 due to a recurring problem with a herniated disk. Risa would like to be a fashion model someday.

Chisato Nakata (中田ちさと) is an 18 year old cutie from Saitama Prefecture. The petite 5’1″ Team A member is a big fan of Japanese professional wrestling and loves to go on long walks.

Last but not least we’ve got Moeno Nito (仁藤萌乃) who’s a Tokyo native. The 17 year old Team B member is often portrayed as a little cold and bitchy but it’s really because she is extremely shy. Moeno recalls just a year ago she couldn’t dance at all when she first joined AKB48.

After seeing these photos from UTB (Up To Boy) Ultimate Top of Beauty gravure magazine scans, all I can say is our little Airi is all grown up!

Cute as buttons Japanese idol singer and J-pop unit C-ute member Airi Suzuki (鈴木愛理) traveled all the way to an abandoned school in Nagano (where the ’98 Winter Olympics took place) for this photo shoot. The white sailor school girl uniform the U-15 (under 15) Hello!Project artist got on matches perfectly with her angelic face and pretty eyes. Next time I’d love to see Airi pose in a lady’s golf outfit since as the daughter of a pro golfer, she often talks about golf on her shows.

Rin’s got a warm girl-next-door smile and already a pretty healthy looking chest. She belongs to Poseidon Entertainment talent agency (ポセイドンエンターテイメント), who also has Japanese teen gravure idol Aira Mihana, Honoka Ayukawa and Reina Sakura under its wings.

Here are some group shots of the 16 semi-finalists. Gravure JAPAN is the result of collaboration between Shukan Young Jump (週刊ヤングジャンプ) and Shukan Playboy (週刊プレイボーイ). This new gravure idol contest is run as part of the celebration for the 30 year anniversary of Young Jump comic.

In case you haven’t figured out, the “Y” and “J” stand for Young Jump.

Gravure Japan Gravure Idol Contest

As all of you Japanese gravure idol lovers know by now, Japan is the mecca of factories that churn out cute, young idols. To combat the famous Miss Magazine (ミスマガジン) gravure idol contest put on by Japanese comic publisher Shukan Young Magazine (週刊ヤングマガジン), this year rival publisher Shukan Young Jump (週刊ヤングジャンプ) teamed up with Shukan Playboy (週刊プレイボーイ) and produced their own gravure idol search called Gravure Japan (グラビアJAPAN).

Confusing? Yeah, I thought so.

Gravure Japan finalists (from L to R): Yuko Shimizu, Nana Seino, Nene Matsuoka, Rin Aoi and Aya Takigawa

Gravure Japan started out with 1200 girls applying. 100 entrants were kept and later 16 girls were selected. Then the number was further narrowed down to 5 finalists. The top Grand Prix prize went to Nene Matsuoka (松岡音々). The part of her body the 21 year old is most proud of is the mole on her neck. Nene is practicing karate but is still a white belt. She said, “I’m thrilled to be standing here and I’ll work hard to have a photobook out.”

Runner-up included Rin Aoi (蒼井凛) who is the youngest of the group at just 13 years of age, as well as Yuko Shimizu (清水ゆう子-20), Aya Takigawa (滝川綾-22) and Nana Seino (清野菜名-14).

I don’t know about you guys but I’d much rather watch this contest unfold than a minute of that god awful American Idol! What kind of “idol” are they talking about exactly?!

Meet the newest “Pocky Girl”, Japanese idol and actress Shiori Kutsuna (忽那汐里). Born and raised in Australia, the 15 year old cutie was selected to be the 50th generation Pocky Princess. The same distinctive honor was also given to popular Japanese idol actress Yui Aragaki a couple years ago which greatly helped boost her to stardom.

The U-15 teen idol moved to Japan 2 years ago to pursue her showbiz career and currently belongs to Japanese entertainment agency powerhouse Oscar Promotion (オスカープロモーション).

Shiori got her first major break when she received the Special Recognition Prize at the 2006 All Japan National Girl Beauty Contest (全日本国民的美少女コンテスト). She followed up that good fortune with an appearance on J pop unit Orange Range’s video “Oshare Bancho” featuring Soy Sauce. Shiori has also landed a role on Fuji TV’s drama “Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu” / Homeroom on the Beach Side (太陽と海の教室) this past summer along side with Kii Kitano.

Lord have mercy! Could he have made Japanese idol Minami Minegishi (峯岸みなみ) any cuter?! The extremely popular U-15 (under 15) AKB48 Team A member is one of its original members. I don’t usually follow AKB48 but I can picture myself going to a concert of the popular Akihabara based Japanese pop idol group just to get a glimpse of this cutie pie!

Seriously, I think staring at those huge innocent eyes and her petite, cheeky face for more than a few seconds will lead to possible cardiac arrest! Japanese idol pimping machine Up To Boy (アップトゥボーイ) ran this spread of Mii-chan when she was still a junior high school student.
