Haven’t I said before that Japan is men’s paradise? Fit One, Of Joytoy and One Eight Promotion, three major Japanese entertainment agencies that specialize in managing gravure idols have joined forces and opened up a specialty cafe staffed by only gravure idols in the middle of Tokyo earlier this month! Located in the upscale neighborhood of Roppongi, “G-Ravure” on average will have around 10 gravure idols at the cafe at all time. $50 get you into a fantastic world filled with cute and sexy young gravure idols for 60 minutes, one drink included. This venture took off after the agencies witnessed the success J-pop idol troupe AKB48 is enjoying with their live theater and related businesses. For now the gravure idol cafe will be staffed mainly by up and coming idols and talents, which actually helps these freshmen particularly since it’s not exactly easy for a person who’s entered the entertainment world to be working part time at a McDonald’s. However the handlers promise that if scheduling permits their well known gravure idols will also be making an appearance at the cafe.
