Sexy Japanese gravure idol Yumi Sugimoto (杉本有美) poses in a pink cosply nurse outfit with matching pink heels and holding a green syringe to promote her newest show. The 20 year old Osaka native will appear in Fuji TV’s new anime Kuchu Balanco (空中ブランコ), or “Swing in the Sky” which starts airing on 10/15. Yumi will play the sexy nurse character of Mayumi. Yumi Sugimoto got her claim to fame by being chosen as the 2006 Image Girl for Japanese swimsuit giant San’ai (三愛水着). Japanese gravure idol Yukina Kinoshita received the honor the following year. The 168cm tall Japanese model said, “This is my first time doing voice over and wearing such sexy costume. I’m also looking forward to finding out how I’ll look in the anime. Everyone please check it out!” This is going to be a rather unique anime as Yumi will provide both her voice as a seiyu (voice actress) and appear as herself in 2D image!
