Here are more pictures of Japanese gravure idol Yukiko Hachisuka (蜂須賀ゆきこ) when she appeared at Softmap in otaku haven Akihabara last year to promote her first gravure DVD. The then 22 year old Kanagawa Prefecture native is often called an “otaku idol” because of her love for manga. Yukiko is currently a 14th generation member of Miniskirt Police (ミニスカポリス) aka Minisuka. Check out Japanese gravure idol Yukiko Hachisuka (蜂須賀ゆきこ) who’s been the talk of the town ever since she made a citizen’s arrest on a poor bloke who tried to molest her on a Tokyo train last week. This is the sexy kitten at the release of her gravure DVD last year before she was selected to be a 14th generation Miniskirt Police member. Yukiko is an otaku of sorts, boasting a good collection of history themed manga. She’s especially into the Ruroni Kenshin / Samurai X (るろうに剣心) series. The title of the DVD “Honey Snow” is a play off both her first and last name. Japanese Gravure Idol Anri Sugihara in Akihabara

As previously reported in my June 29th post, super hot Japanese gravure idol Anri Sugihara (杉原杏璃) appeared at Softmap Amusement building with her magnificent G cup boobs this past Sunday in the Akihabara district of Tokyo. Wearing matching pink and brown bikini, the Hiroshima Prefecture native was on hand to promote her latest gravure DVD titled “See Through Mode”. At the event Anri announced that she has recently lost 3cm off her waist and her official measurement of B89W59H80 needs to be updated. While I appreciate her candor and beauty, I’d most like to see through her bikini and find out for myself the color and shape of her nipples! Japanese Maids in Tokyo

It was announced this past Sunday that 5 girls from the popular Japanese pop idol unit AKB48 will soon end their activities with the group. The 5 AKB48 members who will “graduate” are Tomomi Ooe (大江朝美), Hitomi Komatani( 駒谷ひとみ), Hana Tojima (戸島花), Rina Nakanishi (中西里菜) and Risa Narita( 成田梨紗). Their final appearance will be at the concert held at NHK Hall in Shibuya on November 23rd. Left – Tomomi Ooe, 19; Right – Hitomi Komatani, 19 The Japanese pop music industry often has a tendency to shuffle and reinvent personnel so this announcement was sort of expected. Especially since the 5 girls are part of the original members who formed the Akihabara based idol troupe when it was “only” 20 girls strong. But don’t feel down as these soon to be AKB48 alumni will still be around Japanese entertainment circle. For example, Rina Nakanishi is already active in another splinter unit called “Chocolove From AKB48″. And Hitomi Komatani has signed up with Japanese entertainment powerhouse Sun Music Production (サンミュージック). Here’s the last batch of my “random shots collection” from my recent trip to Japan. I hope you’ve enjoyed everything so far and rest assure I’ve got even more interesting photos from the Land of the Rising Sun coming your way soon so hang tight! I was greeted by the hot and beautiful Japanese fashion model Yuri Ebihara (蛯原友里) aka “Ebi-chan” (エビちゃん) in the form of a McDonald’s poster soon after I arrived in Tokyo. How could you not be in the mood for a Mac Chicken Wrap with black vinegar dressing after seeing this gorgeous Japanese specimen holding one? The famous Akasaka Blitz, a medium sized live house venue similar to House of Blues in the States located in Akasaka (赤坂) in downtown Tokyo where so many famous Japanese musician have performed. Spotted the latest single “Namida no Iro” (涙の色) from popular Hello!Project (ハロー!プロジェクト) unit C-ute on display in the local record store. I don’t know why but their earlier hit single “Tokaikko Junjo” (都会っ子 純情) kept playing in my head as I walked by the display. Japanese AV promotional posters splashed the walls by the entrance to a store in Akihabara. Stay tuned because I’ve got a juicy special on that in the near future. Here’s a funny side note: As I was about to take these shots a young couple passed by. The girl told her man, “Go check it out. You want to go down there, don’t you?” The guy was actually a little hesitant at first but after being reassured he wouldn’t get into trouble he happily obliged and descended into happy land. How cool is that chick?! This is the front entrance to the new TBS TV station headquarters in the posh district of Akasaka (赤坂). I was there to have lunch with a friend who works there (lucky bastard! He’s met his share of Japanese celebrities.) and to take in some good view of some fine Japanese girls. I can honestly say Akasaka is crawling with hot OL (office ladies) and other sexy females! I could barely keep my dick in my pants as I took this stealth shot of some fine Japanese office ladies working at TBS leaving the building! Sleepy John Hits Tokyo, Part 8Continuation of my oh-so artistic photo documentary of my recent Tokyo trip. Somehow I’ve got this fascination with Japanese train stations. Maybe it’s because we don’t really have any where I’m from and the the stations in the States definitely don’t look or feel anything like their Japanese counterpart. Trying to catch one of the last trains of the evening at Nishi Kasai Station. The almost empty station at this hour gives off a lonely feeling, yet the brightly lit lights offer you some comfort and assurance that you’re not left behind. The arriving Tozai Line train cars whizzing by me. A group of people in the background also happened to be heading home after a night of drinking like us no doubt. Typically the short “hanami” or cherry blossom viewing season for Tokyo and surrounding Kanto area is in the very beginning of April. But fortunately I caught a rare glimpse of some leftover cherry blossom when I went up to the mountains. A couple shots of Akihabara district in Tokyo, which has always been famous for its “Electric Town” with numerous shops that carry anything and everything electronic. Recently the area has really transformed itself into a multi entertaining experience with new fashionable restaurants and other retail stores Left – under the JR Sobu Line…Akihabara Massacre took place to the left not too far from here Right – new entertainment building complex south of Akihabara Station offers a plethora of fine dining I’ve been to Japan several times while having visited many different non-tourist places. But I must say this was the first time I spotted a Japanese police operating a speed trap / traffic stake out. Soon after I snapped this stealth photo (the po-po in the Japan don’t like to have their pictures taken, more on this in a later post) he proceeded to bust a motorcyclist for inching too far forward in a right turn yield lane! I guess even the police in Japan are starting to get dirty *sigh* Reminiscing AkihabaraAkihabara is the epicenter of anime culture, as well as everything related to otaku By now I’m sure most of you have heard about the shocking tragedy that took place this past Sunday on the streets of Akihabara (秋葉原) in Tokyo. A deranged and self absorbed scum by the name of Tomohiro Kato (加藤智大) plowed his rental truck through streets full of pedestrians then stepped out of the vehicle and proceeded to go on a frenzied killing spree with a hunting knife. The end result is the worst massacre in post war Japan history with 7 dead and 10 wounded. This tragic incident that has shaken all Japanese people is referred to as the Akihabara Massacre (秋葉原通り魔事件), or “Akihabara street demon incident”. I learned of the horrible news shortly after it happened. And it really sent chills down my spine when I read closer into the news, because I realized I was there almost exactly 1 month ago, also on a day when they had closed off the street to traffic. As a matter of fact, I know exactly where all the murder took place and I was right then and there! Here are some snapshots I took as I walked on the streets in Akihabara that happen to show the site of the massacre: Looking north on Chuo Dori (中央通り) toward ground zero. The main focal point was at the intersection of Chuo Dori and Kanda Myojin Dori (神田明神通り) / Hongo Dori (本郷通り), which runs east to west. The northeast corner of the intersection…this is basically where the carnage began. Tomohiro Kato charged down Kanda Myojin Dori in the rental truck from about 100 meters west of here and blew through the busy intersection as he mowed down numerous pedestrians who were completely caught off guard. From the intersection of Chuo Dori and Kanda Myojin Dori, looking across toward southwest. The despicable murderer ran back heading westbound toward this intersection, chased people with the knife in his hand while screaming like a beast then turned left going southbound on Chuo Dori as he stabbed away. From these pictures you can see just how many people there are in Akihabara. Tomohiro Kato cut a sharp right into the alley between the building with the green sign on top and the building with the red lettering on top and that’s where he was eventually subdued by the police. At the same intersection at night, looking north on Chuo Dori. May the souls of the victims rest in peace AKB48 x Up To Boy‘Morning fellas! Today I’ve got some AKB48 cuteness for ya. Next to Morning Musume, AKB48 is probably the most popular idol group in Japan. “AKB” is short for “Akiba” or Akihabara, the birthplace of the “moe” (萌え) movement and where most of the member were originally scouted. 3 young and lovely representatives from the Japanese idol group AKB48: Atsuko Maeda (L), Erena Ono (C), Mayu Watanabe (R) Japanese gravure magazine Up To Boy (アップトゥボーイ) did a short spread on 3 girls from the 48 member idol group. Each girl was chosen to represent the sub unit she belongs to. Atsuko Maeda (前田敦子), 16, is a first generation member and one of the most popular AKB48 girls among fans Standing at just below 5 feet, the petite Erena Ono (小野恵令奈) often receives the lead role for Team K Mayu Watanabe (渡辺麻友) belongs to Team B and has quickly risen through the ranks as a fan favorite Japanese Trains, Part 2Keihin Tohoku Line (京浜東北線) arrives at Shinbashi Station (新橋駅) Looking at the new Yodobashi Camera building from the platform at Akihabara Station (秋葉原駅). I heard some of the restaurants inside are open 24 hours! Inside Akihabara Station, with Milky Way’s poster in the background. Hang a right to head to the world famous Electric Town. I was surprised at the new Chuo Line (中央線) train cars. They’ve installed LCD monitors that tell you all the stations up ahead, time required to reach the station and other useful info. The all too important Chuo Line that runs through central Tokyo arriving at the always hip Kichijoji Station (吉祥寺駅) Catching the “last train” is quite a phenomenon in Japan. The Japanese will do whatever it takes to make it on that very last train that’ll take them home after a night of drinking. Here we were at the office town of Kayabacho (茅場町駅) trying to catch the last Tozai Line (東西線) express train. It was pretty crowded, but I had been in worse trains. At least I was able to move my hands and wasn’t accused of being a “chikan” (痴漢) or a train groper! A funny poster I saw in the station. In recent years there are more young women blatantly applying their makeup while riding the train, which is considered bad manner in Japan. Personally I wouldn’t mind watching some cute girl putting on her makeup (it can be kinda hot), but unfortunately in most cases the offenders are rather unattractive. I guess the pretty ones know better… The view in front of Shibuya Station. You can see the famous Yamanote Line that loops around central Tokyo whizzing by in the third pic. Shokotan Going Nude?

Shoko Nakagawa’s 4th single “Snow Tears” reached No.2 on the Oricon chart Super popular Japanese gravure idol and singer Shoko Nakagawa aka “Shokotan” made a startling announcement at a recent promotional event for her new single “Snow Tears” and blog collection turned book “Donyoku Days” (貪欲デイズ). When Shokotan revealed to her fans that her first album titled “Big Bang” will drop on the 19th of next month, she added that she shall run through Nakano’s (a popular spot in western Tokyo, 1 express train stop from Shinjuku) Broadway shopping arcade naked if her album reaches No.1 on the Oricon chart! From Shokotan’s blog…this is one cutie I’d love to keep! Good things are happening to the 22 year old self made Japanese idol who hails from Tokyo. The self-professed “otaku” completed the transition from an underground cosplay (costume play) legend in the Akihabara district to a mainstream talent and artist last year, ending the year with a performance on NHK’s Kohaku Utagassen. The total number of hits on her blog reached over 100 million, with the site receiving as many as 4.5 million hits per day! Otaku’s Got GameWho says otaku (a nerd or geek, usually enthralled in anime, video games and/or electronics) can’t get a date? The following debunks the myth that otaku don’t go out with girls. As a matter of fact, otaku get the girls all the time! See, she’s a cutie! Note he’s having the exact same chocolate curry that she’s having…talk about coordination! Dining with 3 lovely ladies at the same time…now that’s some otaku pimpness! Otaku taking his game over to another level For more proof, check out this LINK. It’s got a crapload of picture that’ll surely leave you slack-jawed (and it’s not because of the food)! |
