Jay probably won’t appreciate them but here are some black and white shots of Japanese model and actress Yui Aragaki (新垣結衣) from her photobook “Masshiro” (まっしろ). The former U-19 (under 19) teen idol from Okinawa has recently reached adult status* and is most known for being the “Pocky Gir”.

I love a nice set of rack and a nice butt just as much as the next guy but I think these photos really show off Yui’s innocent beauty and her attitude free girl next door personality.

Mariya Yamada Ties The Knot

It’s official, Mariya Yamada is now married!

As I previously blogged on 1/22/08 and 1/30/08, former big breasted Japanese pin-up gravure idol Mariya Yamada has wed her fiance Japanese actor Tooru Sano. The festive event took place yesterday in Tokyo and about 120 people attended. Suns Entertainment (agency which Mariya belongs to) boss Yoshiharu Noda aka Noda Shacho walked Mariya down the aisle, and Japanese a cappella unit The Gospellers sang at the reception to introduce the new couple.

Mariya Yamada’s parent’s split up when she was young and her biological father hadn’t been around. Ever since she joined Yellow Cab Production as a teenager (the talent agency Yoshiharu Noda ran before setting up Suns Entertainment) Noda Shacho has always taken good care of her, and he is like a father figure to her. So it was only fitting for Mariya to ask Noda Shacho to walk her down the “virgin road” at her wedding ceremony.

It’s a bit funny how Mariya and Tooru became an item.  As I wrote before they had gotten to know each other when they appeared in the same theatrical performance.  Once all the actors from the play had a party and Mariya got piss drunk.  Tooru was the one who took care of her and brought her home, staying with her until the morning.  Apparently the kindness he displayed touched Mariya and they began going out.

At the press conference afterward Mariya proclaimed, “I didn’t know having a wedding is this much fun! I want to do it 10 more times with Tooru!” On her boss, she said, “He has raised me like his own daughter and I’m so thankful for that. I want to repay him for what he’s done for me for the rest of my life!” When asked about kids, the voluptuous 28 year old replied, “I’d like to concentrate on my career for the next 2 years, then we’ll see.”

It has been revealed that 90s Japanese pin-up model turned actress Mariya Yamada will most likely get married next month. Her fiance is 40 year old stage actor Tooru Sano. The two began dating a few years ago shortly after Mariya sought his advice regarding acting (heheh…how convenient!).

Mariya debuted back in 1996 when she was only 15 years old. She was recruited while shopping in the fashionable district of Harajuku in Tokyo by Yellow Cab, a Japanese entertainment agency famous for scouting young girls with big tits. Needless to say, Mariya’s claim to fame were her large breasts.

Mariya was quite a popular gravure model for the rest of 1990s then began appearing on TV more as a panelist on talk shows. In recent years she has been active on stage for production plays (similar to our Broadway shows).

While she was cute and had a bubbly personality, I don’t think she’s got what it takes to make it today with a rather average body. Even her boobs come dime a dozen these days.

According to people close to Mariya, she has been preparing for her wedding and has already notified several working associates about her pending marriage, including Suns Entertainment president Yoshiharu Noda (former president of Yellow Cab), her long time confidant and supporter. Mariya’s relationship was first revealed last May and the tabloids reported her living with Tooru in August.

Ryoko Yonekura Dating Monkey Boy

A major Japanese tabloid has exposed a romantic link between the beautiful Japanese model turned actress Ryoko Yonekura and popular Japanese comedian Atsushi Tamura of London Boots. The couple was spotted dating in the posh Tokyo district of Roppongi in early December. Reportedly Atsushi gleefully told his co-workers that “spring has arrived for me”, which in Japanese means he’s fallen in love.

The sexy Ryoko Yonekura is no stranger to the tabloids. She has dated A+ guys in the past including Japanese soccer star Hidetoshi Nakata and kabuki performer Ebizo Ichikawa. Atsushi Tamura himself is often in the headlines too. He had a long term relationship with idol / talent Nanako Fujisaki. He’s also famous for arranging mixer parties for Japanese celebrities and entertainers, one of them resulted in the infamous meeting between ex- Morning Musume leader Miki Fujimoto and Tomoharu Shoji of the comedy duo Shinagawa Shoji.

On a recent episode of Fuji TV’s “Mecha Iketeru” variety show they even made fun of Atsushi by sticking a photo of him and Ryoko together on his forehead with the caption that read “I’m the dude who beat out Ebizo!” (note: top kabuki performers in Japan are treated like rock stars) It is believed that the couple first got to work together in the beginning of last year on London Boot’s show “London Hearts” airing on TV Asahi and that’s when sparks flew.

Chiriko Sakashita to Wed

Former Japanese pin-up girl, model and “talent” (a generic Japanese word used to refer to entertainers) Chiriko Sakashita has announced to the media via fax that she will register her marriage tomorrow.

The 31 year old leggy beauty has been dating her fiance for about 4 years and describes him as an “ordinary guy” (meaning not in showbiz). In the fax Chiriko wrote that she’s extremely happy right now, and she’s thankful that her fiance is willing to make her his wife even though she’s in showbiz.
