Here are more pictures of Japanese gravure idol Yukiko Hachisuka (蜂須賀ゆきこ) when she appeared at Softmap in otaku haven Akihabara last year to promote her first gravure DVD.  The then 22 year old Kanagawa Prefecture native is often called an “otaku idol” because of her love for manga.  Yukiko is currently a 14th generation member of Miniskirt Police (ミニスカポリス) aka Minisuka.

Yukiko is an otaku of sorts, boasting a good collection of history themed manga.  She’s especially into the Ruroni Kenshin / Samurai X (るろうに剣心) series.  The title of the DVD “Honey Snow” is a play off both her first and last name.
