It was announced on Sunday that beautiful Japanese fashion supermodel YURI EBIHARA has registered her marriage with Japanese hip hop unit Rip Slyme member rapper ILMARI.  The announcement was released through her management agency.  The couple had been dating for over a year.  In a handwritten fax the cute and sexy 30 year old wrote, “Joining forces, we will build a warm family together with plenty of smiles.”

Keisuke Ogihara, age 34 is born of a Japanese father and a Finnish mother and grew up in Tokyo.  His stage name ILMARI is taken from his Finnish middle name.  The smooth Japanese MC first met Yuri Ebihara (蛯原友里) aka “Ebi-chan” in the fall of 2008 through friends at work and started dating the Japanese fashion model hottie in spring of the following year.  Soon after the two started going out they were photographed visiting Yuri’s hometown of Miyazaki Prefecture in southern Japan.  The couple went on a vacation in Guam over the New Year and it was reported that they took a trip to France back in Februaray.

While Yuri isn’t pregnant, unlike many of the Japanese celebrities who marry, people close to her have hinted that there’s a good chance she might become pregnant soon.  Up until now Yuri, the ultimate Japanese symbol of cuteness has lived with her twin sister Eiri and her husband of 4 years.  Apparently she made a pack with her sister that they would have babies and raise them at the same time.  I think the younger sister must be getting tired of waiting and there could be some tandem pregnancy and baby popping sometime soon!

Yuri Ebihara has also said she wants to be a model all her life with no intention of quitting.  I can’t wait to see the new hot housewife supermodel or perhaps even a MILF version of Ebi-chan!  Yuri Ebihara will be a June bride and have her wedding ceremony on June 16th at a church in the suburb of Paris.  You can be sure she’ll walk down the isle wearing her own wedding dress line Acqua Grazie (アクア・グラツィエ).

As previously reported on my 3/4 post, sexy Japanese fashion model and actress REIKO TAKAGAKI tied the knot last Wednesday with former Japanese Olympic gold medal speed skater Hiroyasu Shimizu.  The beautiful 30 year old made the announcement on her blog on April 1st, but to the disappointment of her fanboys she wasn’t joking.  Reiko Takagaki (高垣麗子) has previously shared that many friends around her are already married so she also felt inclined toward marriage.

Japanese gravure idol actress MEGUMI FUKUSHITA has tied the knot with popular Japanese comedian Akimasa Haraguchi last Sunday.  The sexy and multi-talented 25 year old has known the Fukuoka Prefecture native 9 years her senior for a while since they both excel at impersonating other Japanese celebrities.  The couple began dating about a year and a half ago.  They had been spotted together in and around Shinjuku district of Tokyo.

Haraguchi, who is most well known for his impersonation of popular Japanese comedian Sanma Akashiya admitted having a love interest to the media as far back as last summer.  I think it’s only a matter of time that Megumi Fukushita (福下恵美) will enter an impersonator competition with her man as a husband and wife team.

It’s a bit late but I thought you Puffy fans might want to know.  Yumi Yoshimura aka YUMI of the world famous J-pop unit PUFFY has suddenly remarried earlier this year.  This is the second marriage for the Osaka born singer.  According to people around YUMI (吉村由美) her new husband is a handsome looking guy 5 years her junior who’s running his own business.  They only started dating last September and submitted their marriage application on New Year’s Eve.  Homegirl sure knows how to seal the deal right away when she reels in the big one!

YUMI, one half of the female duo that is PUFFY that took Japan by storm in the 90s was previously married to Takanori Nishikawa, front man of J-pop group T.M. Revolution from 1999 to 2002.  The youthful 35 year old said on her website, “Oh by the way, I’m not pregnant so don’t get all worked up.”  The former Mrs. Nishikawa also shared that she liked her new man from the moment she saw him and that he’s a quick witted person.

All of us ana lovers have lost another one!  Fuji TV announcer cutie MINAKO NAKANO has indeed followed through with the announcement made at the end of last year and walked down the isle as a bride on the 7th of this month.  By the way, “ana” is short for announcer in Japanese.

To the chagrin of her fanboys the sexy 30 year old first announced her pending marriage at the end of December.  The lucky bloke is a tall and handsome 34 year old plastic surgeon with an athletic build.  According to sources close to Minako Nakano (中野美奈子), the Kagawa Prefecture native first met her husband in the fall of 2008.  He soon popped the question in the spring of 2009 which she accepted and they finally decided on a date for the wedding last fall.  Minako has commented that “He is so kind.  I feel like I can be myself when I’m with him.  I look forward to building a cheery and stable family that’s filled with smile.”

Report has it that Minako’s close friend Fuji TV announcer Aya Takashima couldn’t stop crying at her wedding reception.  Could Ayapan be next?

Beautiful and sexy Japanese TV announcer/newscaster Mao Kobayashi dropped a bombshell yesterday by admitting her romantic relationship with Japanese kabuki actor Ebizo Ichikawa.  At the end of a press conference for a fashion line yesterday the NTV announcer  suddenly said, “Regarding reports by the media this morning, Ebizo Ichikawa and I are having a serious relationship.  I will provide more information later today.”

Later in the evening the 27 year old Mao Kobayashi (小林麻央) and Ebizo Ichikawa (市川海老蔵), age 31 jointly faxed a letter to the media stating that they have been dating with marriage in mind and will marry in the near future.  The Cent Force (セント・フォース) freelance reporter has also put up similar announcement on her personal blog.

Mao, a Sophia University graduate met the rock star like Ebizo back in January of this year for a special interview she was doing for NTV’s prime time News Zero program.  Ebizo carries a playboy reputation with him, having dated high profile actresses / models such as Ryoko Yonekura, Eriko Sato and Saki Takaoka in the past with not so great endings.  I hope he’ll change his ways and cherish this special girl.

Mao Kobayashi Dating Ebizo Ichikawa with Marriage in Mind

Sexy Japanese gravure idol Yoko Kumada (熊田曜子) wants to get married…like now!  Japanese daily Sankei Sports aka Sanspo interviewed the gravure veteran earlier this year to find out that the Gifu Prefecture native is very ready to say yes to a wedding.  Can somebody please tell me where is the sign up sheet for me to bury my face in Yoko’s soft F cup chest?

I have a strong urge to get married.  As a matter of fact, I thought I was going to marry when I was 23 years old.  Like I wrote in my book last year, I’d like to get married at 27 and give birth at 28.  I’ve gotta get hitched since I already missed that deadline.  There’s no ideal partner right now, but I’m thinking positively and working hard everyday toward that goal.  There’s still time. 

I think a woman who works hard for a man is wonderful.  I’ve been working out hard for a body that men would love.  I lost 8 kg in 3 months.  To maintain my nice body shape I began doing massages since 2 years ago and keeping a close eye on my weight on a daily basis.  As I enter my 7th year in showbiz, I keep expanding my talent as an actress, singer and entertainer.  I’m always seeking out my own style.  To me gravure modeling is still my bread and butter, so I’ll continue doing that in the future.

Yoko Kumada Wants to Get Married Now

Today Japanese daily Sports Nippon revealed that sexy Japanese actress Takako Tokiwa (常盤貴子) will soon marry her boyfriend of 6 years.  Her fiance is Keishi Nagatsuka (長塚圭史), a Japanese actor, screenwriter and director 3 years her junior.  The couple met back in 2003 while working on the movie Geroppa, or Get Up (ゲロッパ! ), in which Takako had the starring role. 

The busty Stardust Promotion (スターダストプロモーション) starlette came onto the scene in the mid 90s appearing in several popular TV drama.  She is often referred to by Japanese women as the standard of beauty and has endorsed many cosmetic lines.  Takako’s ample breasts are always a hot topic and Japanese media has estimated her boobs to be an F cup.  According to the report Takako Tokiwa and Keishi Nagatsuka have met both of their parents as well as notified their respective management agencies so their pending marriage seems to be well set in motion.

Aki Hoshino, the baby face busty Japanese gravure idol we all love has said no to getting married…uh, at least this year.  At a press conference yesterday in Tokyo promoting the upcoming sci-fi movie Doomsday the F cup “roriero” (a Japanese term to describe both having a lolita face and being erotic) sexy kitten strongly denied report from a Japanese weekly that she’s ready to tie the knot with her supposed 19 year old boyfriend Japanese jockey Kosei Miura.

The 32 year old Japanese gravure veteran said, “I actually heard that rumor from my mom.  I’m not getting married this year, no way.  There’s still plenty of time so I’m not in a hurry.”  When asked what she’d do if there’s only 48 hours left in this world just like in Doomsday Aki answered, “I’d like to meet someone special.  If there’s someone I like I want to see him.”

Hahaha…isn’t that answer a little bit too pure for you Aki?  We all know you just want to ride that teenage jockey all day long until kingdom come!

Aki Hoshino Says No to Marriage

Haha this should be categorized as a “prequel”.  But since we’re on the hot news trail of marriage announcement from the sexy and talented Miki Fujimoto (藤本美貴), I thought I’d write up this piece too.

Former Hello!Project and Morning Musume Japanese super idol Miki Fujimoto appeared alongside with ex-colleague Mai Satoda (里田まい) at the end of May at a publicity event put on by McDonald’s Japan and Coca Cola Japan.  It was the Hokkaido Prefecture native’s first appearance since the announcement of her engagement to Japanese comedian Tomoharu Shoji of Shinagawa Shoji duo.

At the promotional event Mikitty frankly told the reporters that she’s happy she met her man and he’s the perfect partner.  Upon hearing such candid words, Mai said, “I’m so envious.  I also want to say I’m getting married.  I’d like to have a partner”

At the campaign for Coke glass the two girls also played a mini futsal match with ex Japanese national team players.  Playing off the soccer theme, after the exhibition match Mikitty was peppered with questions such as “When’s the kick-off for your marriage” and “What do you consider as a red card in a relationship”.  To which the 24 year old former Morning Musume replied, “I’d like to have a decision about the wedding by July.  To me cheating constitutes as a red card.”

The day countless Mikitty fanboys around the world fear the most has come.  Former leader of the Japanese super idol group Morning Musume Miki Fujimoto (藤本美貴) announced on Sunday Japan time that she and fiance Tomoharu Shoji (庄司智春) have tied the knot.

Miki caused quite an uproar back in 2007 when she was caught dating the second rate monkey-looking Japanese comedian as the leader of the most popular J-pop idol group.  The couple was dubbed “Beauty and the Beast” by the Japanese media.  Nobody thought they’d last but this past March their engagement was announced to the public.

At the press conference the 24 year old Hokkaido Prefecture native appeared in an elegant white dress with black dots looking as cute as ever.  The 6th generation Morning Musume member and former Hello!Project artist told the media that she and Tomoharu, one half of Japanese comedy duo Shinagawa Shoji have already held a wedding ceremony in Hawaii on the 3rd.  To quell Miki’s fanboys any last shred of hope, Mr. Shoji announced that they officially registered their marriage the day before.

It was revealed that Tomoharu actually first proposed to Miki last summer.  However Miki did not accept it because it didn’t include include a ring and wasn’t up to her expectation so she made the Yoshimoto Kogyo comedian try again.  Affectionately known to her fans as “Mikitty” (because of her love for Sanrio character Hello Kitty), she commented that she was moved when she realized that she has changed her last name.

When the subject came to children, Mikitty said, “We don’t have any plans to have kids right now.  But I want us to enjoy each other’s company first then have kids.”  The porcelain skinned songstress added that she’ll start moving her stuff over to her new hubby’s place.

While I’m not too thrilled to hear the news (yes, I too, am a Mikitty fan), I had a feeling this day would come.  Such is the harsh reality of life!  Fellas, we’ve lost another pretty young one.

Former Japanese pin-up girl, model and “talent” (a generic Japanese word used to refer to entertainers) Chiriko Sakashita has announced to the media via fax that she will register her marriage tomorrow.

The 31 year old leggy beauty has been dating her fiance for about 4 years and describes him as an “ordinary guy” (meaning not in showbiz). In the fax Chiriko wrote that she’s extremely happy right now, and she’s thankful that her fiance is willing to make her his wife even though she’s in showbiz.

According to reliable sources popular top-heavy gravure idol turned singer MEGUMI is close to marrying Kenji Furuya, the leader of Japanese hip-hop / rock group Dragon Ash. They have moved into a house since this fall and registered their names as the official occupants. Kenji’s father, actor Ikko Furuya was spotted having dinner with the couple in the middle of this month in Tokyo and his mother has also met MEGUMI.

Note: It is a huge deal in Japan for a person to meet the parents of his/her love interest, unlike the West. It isn’t uncommon for a person to meet his/her future parents-in-law for the first time right before the wedding.

People close to the couple notice MEGUMI has a strong desire to get married since her good friend former gravure idol Eiko Koike has gotten married, and that she has been checking out different wedding venues in Tokyo. Of course both Kenji and her management responded with a “no comment”.

Update: I just watched a Christmas special with MEGUMI on the show and she’s sporting a band on her left ring finger. I guess she’s not trying too hard to hide the engagement.
