Mariya Yamada’s parent’s split up when she was young and her biological father hadn’t been around. Ever since she joined Yellow Cab Production as a teenager (the talent agency Yoshiharu Noda ran before setting up Suns Entertainment) Noda Shacho has always taken good care of her, and he is like a father figure to her. So it was only fitting for Mariya to ask Noda Shacho to walk her down the “virgin road” at her wedding ceremony.

It’s a bit funny how Mariya and Tooru became an item.  As I wrote before they had gotten to know each other when they appeared in the same theatrical performance.  Once all the actors from the play had a party and Mariya got piss drunk.  Tooru was the one who took care of her and brought her home, staying with her until the morning.  Apparently the kindness he displayed touched Mariya and they began going out.

At the press conference afterward Mariya proclaimed, “I didn’t know having a wedding is this much fun! I want to do it 10 more times with Tooru!” On her boss, she said, “He has raised me like his own daughter and I’m so thankful for that. As Hikaru’s criminal lawsuit against her boss Yoshiharu Noda aka “Noda shacho” of Suns Entertainment carries on over her claim that Noda shacho coerced her into doing AV, it has been revealed that there are actually 2 “AVs” involved. The original plan for the $1.5 million project was supposed to include a nude photobook, an erotic movie and a DVD. The DVD filming portion was completed back in October of last year.

However Hikaru is now suing to prevent the DVD from going on sale. And she has refused to participate in the making of the photobook and movie, which resulted in the project coming to a standstill. But there’s more to the story than this.

The actual contract Ms. Hikaru Kawamura signed was $700K for 2 “AV” productions, meaning there’s supposed to be one more title beside the one she had already performed. But according Noda shacho, the production in question is not AV (Japanese porn) but rather a new style of “image video”. He persuaded Hikaru to come on board by telling her she would be the first person to appear in this type of new genre.

Well, what Noda shacho said was true in a way since in the DVD that was completed last year there was no real direct sexual scenes, as Hikaru only did insinuated “self gratification” with non-human objects. Nevertheless I’d say that’s very, very hot!

The planned movie is even racier, with plenty of erotic scenes but with the intention of keeping the extremely sensual film in very good taste. The problem is it requires $3 million for this mouth watering movie to happen, and a big chunk of that money has to come from the DVD sale. According to reliable sources due to this reason Hikaru’s take is only about 20%, which led insiders to believe the lawsuit she brought on is more about money and not about forced AV performance at all!

But at any rate bills have to be paid so people closely associated with the project have been discussing about a compromise by cutting out the nude scenes and releasing the DVD as a typical idol “image video” this spring. Stay tuned…

At that time Noda shacho actually told her, “It’s okay to marry the guy if you’ve dated him for 3 years. But you should look after your younger brother until he graduates from high school.” Mariya’s younger brother will graduate this spring.

I’m impressed with Mariya because unlike many Japanese celebrities she chose to keep her wedding fanfare rather low key. She and her fiance bought their wedding bands in a Tokyo department store like ordinary couples back in November and the pair cost “only” $1200. She said at the press conference that marriage isn’t about money. I’m glad the Japanese entertainment world has at least a few clear headed women like her!

Saki Seto - Technically the 22 year old gravure model is no longer with Suns Entertainment. Hikaru Kawamura Claims, “I Was Forced to Do AV!”

Is “one-kei” (older sister / sexy young lady style) Hikaru Kawamura turning AV?

It has been reported that Japanese gravure idol and swimsuit model Hikaru Kawamura is suing her boss Yoshiharu Noda, the president of Suns Entertainment and former boss of Yellow Cab Production for coercing her into performing in undesirable projects.

Yoshiharu Noda, the godfather and pioneer of Japan’s “kyonyu boom” (big tits / busty craze). I think as Japanese gravure idol lovers we should all bow down to him and pay our respect!

Rumor began flying at the end of last year that a certain well known Japanese idol / gravure model would make her debut in AV in the beginning of 2008. It appears that the 28 year old Hikaru Kawamura is the girl (I use that term loosely) in question.

According to close source, the filming and other related production was completed in October of last year. A major Japanese AV production company was put in charge of the project and Hikaru appeared nude and in several racy scenes. However, Hikaru’s boss president Noda and other people associated with the project denied that the film is AV.

You can see president Yoshiharu Noda in the background. He’s a very hands-on boss often accompanying his girls to photo shoots and dishing out advice & directions.

The project was supposed to include a movie, photo book and a DVD release. But the casting for the movie never moved forward and Hikaru Kawamura refused to do the photo book portion. For now it looks like only the DVD will go on sale sometime this month. Although the contents of the DVD were changed / edited many times at Hikaru’s insistence, in the end she still loathed having to appear.

It makes me wonder what famous Japanese AV company was contracted to film Hikaru…was it Moodyz, Soft On Demand or Alice Japan?

What makes this whole thing more complicated is that the lawsuit Hikaru filed against her boss is criminal, and not the civil case this type of confrontation usually falls under. Does this illustrate just how upset Hikaru is or purely a marketing ploy at a failed project?

Whatever the problem may be, this is a big project Hikaru signed on that’s worth a total of $1.5 million. Personally I think the damn bitch should quit complaining and just do her part, considering the fact that 1) she’s not *that* popular to command such diva attitude 2) being 28 in Japan and still trying to do gravure is really, really pushing it 3) I believe she has done some V Cinema work (Japanese soft core porn like Playboy movies) and 4) she’ll still get paid royally after the pie is split.
