Japanese Gravure Idol Maki Issoh (Isso)

Sexy baby faced fashion model turned gravure idol Maki Isso / Issoh (一双麻希) has just released her first gravure DVD. The 19 year old Japanese teen stands at a tallish 168cm (5′6″) and shot the DVD in Okinawa. The Ishikawa Prefecture native was the 2007 campaign girl for Japan Swimsuit Association.

Regarding the risque black lingerie shots Maki said, “I wasn’t used to wearing such sexy outfit but I gave it my all.”

Check out the sweet smile on the lolita faced Seiko Ando (安藤成子). Currently 21years of age, the former U-19 Japanese gravure idol was strutting down pit lane as a teenage race queen. It is obvious that the Yokohama native (just 1hr southwest of Tokyo) didn’t enter the showbiz circle for money, since she comes from a very well to do family. As a matter of fact, she used to live by herself in an ultra luxury condo that cost $3400 per month for rent, which earned her the nickname “celebrity gravure idol” (セレブグラドル)!

Seiko was a semi-finalist in the 2005 All Japan High School Girl Uniform Collection contest (全国女子高生制服コレクション or “seikore” 制コレ for short) that’s put on every year by Japanese manga publishing powerhouse Shukan Young Jump (週刊ヤングジャンプ).

Japanese Idol Actress Kii Kitano x Up To Boy

Up next in our special Up To Boy (アップトゥボーイ) gravure spread is one of the most in demand Japanese U-19 (under 19) idols…Kii Kitano (北乃きい). These days you can see the 17 year old Yokosuka native (about an hour south of Tokyo) all over Japanese TV. Kii got her start as a fashion model for the teen magazine “Hana*Chu”. She then won the sought after Miss Magazine gravure idol contest in 2005, becoming the youngest grand prize winner (14) in the history of the contest.

Let’s kick off with one of the most in demand U-15 Japanese idol / actress, Mirai Shida (志田未来). The Kanagawa Prefecture native has been in showbiz since she was in grade school but really hit it big with her starring role in NTV’s controversial drama “14 Year Old Mother” (14才の母) at the end of ‘06.

The 19 year old teen race queen Sana Yuuki (友稀サナ) is a member of the 2008 Super GT image girl unit “Airy”. The petite 158cm (5′2″) cutie got her start as a U-15 model for Japanese fashion magazine “Pichi Lemon” (ピチレモン). Unlike the overwhelming majority of Japanese girls, Sana doesn’t like sweets and prefers being presented with meat instead of a cake on her birthday (I’m going to try very hard and refrain from making any pervy comments). She is an admitted shoe-holic and would love to be Mickey Mouse’s girlfriend.



Tokyo native Sana Yuuki has switched camp from this year and signed with the same entertainment agency “Platinum Production” (プラチナムプロダクション) as fellow Airy Girl Marie Sukegawa.

2008 GT Race Queen Takako Lopez

Another specially selected image girl to represent the 2008 Super GT is Takako Lopez (ロペス貴子), a fine specimen of French and Japanese descent. This hot teen race queen started her grid career last year when she was only 17 in the Super Taikyu (スーパー耐久) endurance series and received the honor of first place “grid girl” at the 2007 F1 Japan at Fuji Speedway! One of the 5 finalists for the 2008 Miss Magazine (ミスマガジン) gravure idol contest, Osaka native Mio Otani (大谷澪) received the Judge’s Award and was coined “Cinderella Girl”. Mio earned her place the hard way, having to enter the contest from the bottom through public registration.
